September 23rd – Poverty and Generosity

Brian Bull presents the first in a series of three messages from 2 Corinthians chapters 8-9. Paul encourages the church in Corinth to give joyfully and generously, following the example of the churches in Macedonia, who although they were going through times of “severe trial” and “extreme poverty”, gave beyond their means, following the example of Christ, who “for our sakes became poor, so that we through his poverty might become rich”.
