November 4th – All Souls service
“Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.” (Mat 5:4 NIV) Tom Cox reminds us that it is healthy to mourn the loss of loved ones, but we must hold to the truths that:
- God knows what he is doing, even though from our perspective it may not look like it.
- God mourns and grieves with us.
- There is hope and redemption in His arms.
We remembered all those whose funerals had taken place in the past year, and prayed for comfort and peace for those left behind.
