January 20th – Healing Service

Rev Alan Bing preaches on the gifts of the Spirit, from 1 Corinthians 12, with special reference to the gift of healing.

Being part of the Church of God means that we are all members of one body, and we each have particular gifts from the Holy Spirit. These gifts show us that Jesus is Lord, they are for service in the common good, and they show God’s grace in action. God’s gifts are for all of those who belong to Jesus, although we may not always recognise it. May we all be able to step out and to use the gifts that God has given us.
