Retirement

Some of you already know this, and others may have guessed, but I would like everyone to know that I intend to retire next spring, with Easter Sunday being my last day in post as Rector of Ulverston. Wendy and I will be very sad indeed to leave Ulverston and the church family here. However, we feel that it is the right time to leave, both for us and for the parish.
Although I have been assured that I will be replaced, I realise that my departure will place an additional burden on the Church Wardens, Madi, and the rest of the staff team. Do please pray for them, and for the church, during what will be a time of uncertainty. And we would be grateful for your prayers as we look for a home and a church to move on to.
