RWANDAN PILGRIMAGE

A group mission trip to Rwanda is being organised for two weeks in February 2020. The trip will include time to connect with God, to focus on the life of the church and to see some of the work the  Rwanda Direct charity does. For more information see below, or please speak to Jean and Paul Daltry.

Visit Rwanda!

Paul and Jean Daltry have recently joined UPC and have many years of working in and with the Church in Rwanda. They help run a small charity, Rwanda Direct, which has as its priorities those things that the Church in Rwanda prioritise: all money given goes direct to support the Church’s needs.

We are planning to lead a group visit to the amazing country of Rwanda in Central Africa during February 2020 for two weeks. Rwanda is extraordinarily beautiful, with wonderful people but also has a dark history of brutality. Our trip will focus on the life of the church including seeing some of the work that Rwanda Direct supports. We will be based at Scripture Union in Kigali and will travel out to other areas, including Gahini, where the East African Revival started and to the Akagera Game Park.

Rwanda and its Church can teach us a lot. Expect to be challenged, to have to think and to learn much. It is very much a pilgrimage and we will have time to think, pray and share through the trip.

Budget around £1500 for a two week visit. Please contact Jean or Paul Daltry if you are interested and for further information.

It’s worth it!!
