You should get email reminders a fortnight before you are on the rota for anything; please let Jen Cox, in the office, know if this isn’t happening.

Saturday September 18th, 10am – 5pm

Join us to explore the rich history of Ulverston Parish Church.

Set at the completion of the building’s most extensive renovation in 1866, the day will include displays and talks by heritage craftspeople, with an opportunity for visitors to get hands on!

Family friendly childrens activities, Victorian dressing up, virtual bellringing, refreshments and so much more.

Pray for preparations. If you can help with planning or come on the weekend get in contact with Ruth at

Caring for the Carers

We have established a scheme for offering worn-out ‘carers’ short restorative retreats at Rydal Hall.
We clapped for them – and now we’re trying to help in a practical way. The cost of this will be about £20,000, towards which £7,000 has already been raised, and if your churches (or any individuals within them) would like to make a contribution, the account details are: “The Diocese of Carlisle and Sacred Space Caring for the Carers Fund”, sort code 30-96-26, bank account number 74754760. Any gift of any size will be very gratefully received.
