God loves the world so much, He wants to make a way for everybody to get to know Him and He does that by sending His son.

Mary has been told by God that she is having a very special baby that is God’s son. She has travelled to Bethlehem with her husband Joseph to be counted in a census, but there is nowhere for them to stay. Eventually, they are given space in with the animals and that is where Jesus is born, the baby who will one day save us all from the bad things we all do, His name means Saviour!

The angels had a party and told shepherds, who came to see the baby; while a miraculous star guided wise men to bring special presents for a special baby.
